Top Recall Hazards - 5 Years

Hazard definitions:
  1. Fire – Use of the product may lead to a fire or the product violates federal fabric flammability regulations.
  2. Burn – Use of the product may lead to experiencing burns.
  3. Falling – Use of the product may cause an unintentional fall.
  4. Heat-Related Explosion – The product may explode unintentionally.
  5. Poisoning – Use of the product may lead to poisoning.
  6. Crash – Use of the product may lead to an unintentional crash.
  7. Choking – Use of the product may lead to choking, or the product violates federal toy safety standards, or the product violates federal children clothing standards (drawstrings).
  8. Cuts – Use of the product may lead to unintentional cuts and/or lacerations.
  9. Electrical - Use of the product may lead to shock or electrocution.
  10. Impact - Use of the product may lead to an unintentional impact that may cause injury or death.

Recall Remedies - 5 Years

Note: Recall Remedy data may change daily to reflect updates to company operating status or recall remedy availability. Recalls with multiple remedies (ex. Repair and Replace) will be counted in each remedy.
  1. Refund – A customer may receive a full or partial refund, or gift card for the recalled product.
  2. Repair – The company is offering a repair to the recalled product.
  3. Replace – The company is offering a replacement for the recalled product in the form of a new product or other products of similar value.
  4. Dispose – The product should be thrown out or recycled.
  5. New Instructions – The company will issue new instructions on how the customer can make the recalled product safe.
  6. Remedy No Longer Available – The recalled product should be thrown out or recycled.

Hazard:

The gates violate the federal safety regulations for expansion gates and expandable enclosures. A child’s torso can fit through the opening between the gate slat and side wall, posing an entrapment hazard to children.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the gates and contact Sanven Technology via email at csr@vevor.com for information on how to dispose of the product and submit a photograph to obtain a full refund. Sanven Technology is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

When attached to drywall without toggle bolts, the panels of the recalled floating wall theater can detach and fall, posing an injury hazard to consumers.

When the bottom panel is attached to any wall surface without installing the safety screw that is included with the product, the bottom panel of the recalled floating wall theater can detach and fall, posing an injury hazard to consumers.

Remedy:

If the recalled floating wall theater entertainment center and panels have been attached to drywall without toggle bolts, consumers should clear the space underneath and immediately around the entertainment center and stay away from it. Consumers should contact Manhattan Comfort for a free repair. The repair will consist of providing consumers with toggle bolts and instructions on how to remove and reinstall the floating theater.

If the bottom panel of the recalled floating wall theater entertainment center has been attached to any wall surface without the included safety screw, consumers should immediately stop using the entertainment center and contact Manhattan Comfort for a free repair. The repair will consist of providing consumers with a replacement safety screw and instructions on how to apply the safety screw.

Hazard:

The sprayer pump on the backpack can leak chemicals into the battery compartment and can cause the battery to overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled sprayers and contact Harbor Freight Tools for instructions on returning the sprayer hose and wand to the nearest store for a full refund in the form of a Harbor Freight Tools gift card. Consumers should flush the sprayer with water and cut the sprayer hose and wand off the product with scissors. If unable to return the sprayer hose and wand to a Harbor Freight Tools store, contact Harbor Freight Tools using their toll-free number or email address to request a prepaid return shipping label. Harbor Freight Tools is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The lithium battery in the recalled Charge Case Accessory can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Charge Case Accessory and contact Humane to receive a full refund or free replacement. Consumers will have the option to receive a refund or a replacement Charge Case Accessory. Consumers who purchased the Charge Case Accessory will receive a $149 refund, while consumers who purchased the Charge Case as part of the Ai Pin Complete System will receive a $129 refund. The approved replacement Charge Case Accessory will be available in approximately 3 to 6 months. Consumers should dispose of the product in accordance with any local and state laws, and not in the trash.

Hazard:

The metal straw inside the tumbler can cut your mouth and/or fingers, posing a laceration hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled metal straw that comes with the tumbler and contact HALO for instructions on how to receive a free replacement silicone straw, after returning the metal straw. If consumers don’t want to keep the tumbler either, they can return it with the metal straw and receive a refund in the form of a $15 gift card. The original tumbler and metal straw must be returned to HALO to receive the refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required to receive a replacement or refund. HALO will provide a pre-paid label for shipping the recalled units. Consumers should not return the recalled units to Wawa stores.

Hazard:

The high voltage cables on the motor controller unit can be loose, causing the cable to arc or overheat while in use, posing fire and crash hazards and risk of serious injury.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ROVs and contact an authorized Polaris dealer to schedule a free inspection of the motor controller unit and its components. If the high voltage cables are loose or damaged Polaris will provide a free repair at the dealer’s location. Polaris is contacting registered owners directly.

Hazard:

The recalled ATVs fail to comply with the requirements of the federal mandatory ATV safety regulations. The youth ATVs’ mechanical suspension fails to comply with safety requirements, posing a crash hazard. The adult ATVs’ service brakes fail to sufficiently stop the vehicle, posing a crash hazard, and the handlebars pose a laceration hazard if the adult rider’s body or head impacts the handlebars. ATVs that fail to meet the mandatory safety regulations pose a risk of serious injury or death.

Remedy:

Consumers should stop using the recalled ATVs immediately and contact Ricky Powersports to arrange to return the ATVs for a full refund.

Hazard:

Weight plates above 55 lbs included in the set can dislodge from the 5 lb grip handles, posing an impact injury hazard to the user.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled handles and contact PowerBlock for instructions on receiving free replacement 5 lb grip handles. PowerBlock is contacting all known purchasers directly.

Hazard:

The throttle lever on the recalled ATVs can fail to return to the idle position when a driver releases it, and the vehicle could then unexpectedly continue to accelerate, posing a crash hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ATVs and contact an authorized CFMOTO dealer to schedule a free repair at the dealership. CFMOTO has issued a stop ride notice to consumers and is contacting all registered owners and dealers directly.

Hazard:

The vehicle can move when on an incline and “park” is displayed on the digital dash. This can allow the vehicle to roll away, posing a crash hazard.

Remedy:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact Textron Specialized Vehicles to schedule a free repair. The repair kit will include a new shift cable bracket, shift sensor, and a decal to be placed at the dash display. The new shift sensor will allow the dash to display an "E" for shift error if “park” on the vehicle is not fully engaged. Customers will be directly notified to bring their vehicle to an authorized dealership to have the kit added at no cost. Textron is contacting all known purchasers directly.
